Steve Halland Joins Wyse Technology as Vice President and General Manager of the Americas
Seasoned Executive Will Drive Corporate Growth in U.S., Canada and Latin America

Wyse Technology, the domain experts in network-centric computing, today announced that Steve Halland has joined its rapidly expanding management team as Vice President and General Manager of the Americas. Halland will oversee all sales and field marketing efforts in the United States, Canada and Latin America, including field and inside sales, channel and partner marketing and technical support as well as manage Wyse's relationships with distributors and Value Added Resellers (VARs).

Halland brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience to his role at Wyse Technology. During the course of his career, Halland has personally negotiated and closed numerous multi-million dollar contracts, managed and coached sales organizations of more than 300 people and held responsibility for more than $3 billion in annual sales. Prior to joining Wyse, Halland was vice president and general manager of the desktop and server business unit of Acer America, a $13 billion PC manufacturer and distributor. In his role at Acer, he oversaw more than $300 million in sales of desktop and server products sold throughout Canada, Latin America and the United States. Previously, Halland held senior sales and management positions with a number of industry-leading organizations including Ingram Micro, Inc. and Computerland Corporation, Inc. Halland has a B.S. in Business from the University of San Francisco.
