Wyse Announces Industry’s First Thin Computing Pilot in a Box for Enterprise Desktop Virtualization
New kit gives enterprises the components needed to quickly deploy, manage and test new desktop virtualization architectures

Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing today announced a new "Thin Computing Pilot in a Box for Enterprise Desktop Virtualization" including key hardware and software components to enable enterprises to quickly evaluate the benefits of desktop virtualization and terminal services architectures.
In response to huge interest in enterprise desktop virtualization, this product bundle enables existing owners of VMware ESX to experience for themselves the benefits of the enterprise desktop virtualization approach. Enterprises can combine software and equipment they already own with this Pilot in a Box to create a 25 user managed virtual desktop environment.

The Thin Computing Pilot in a Box for Enterprise Desktop Virtualization includes:
- 25 Wyse S10-VDI-Edition Thin Computers The S10-VDI Edition delivers all the security of a stateless device, with a built in, self-updating operating system that can quickly find and connect with the virtual desktop server.
- 25 licenses for Wyse Device Manager - Wyse infrastructure management software
- 2 days of Onsite Consulting

The Wyse Thin Computing Pilot in a Box for Enterprise Desktop Virtualization is priced at an estimated customer price of $9,995 and will be demonstrated at the VMworld show in LA, in booth #540.
